Are we really independent????
Restoration of Independence Day.
The day that we regain the independence from the Spanish, in 1640!
This probably what’s happening in this right moment with so many people in Portugal:
Wake up, dress a Zara Jeans, a Massimo Dutti shirt, and a Adolfo Dominguez pullover, also Camper shoes. Eat a Danone yogurt, turn on the tv on the TVI channel (that is from Spanish Enterprise Prisa). Leave home, driving a Seat auto, putting fuel in Repsol, paying with my Santander Visa Card. Calling friends with my TMN mobile (40 percent from PT, TMN owner, is Telefónica from Spain). Going to buy some clothes in El Corte Inglés, buying some colorful clothes for the children in Agatha Ruiz de La Prada, dinner in a Tapas Bar, at the same time watching to Sevilla dancers, in the car putting a cd of Shakira (she is Colombian, but often sings in Spanish). Going home and watch a Barcelona or Real Madrid game, whishing the one of the three big clubs in Portugal were so good as them…Went to sleep in my Ikea bed that was bought in Madrid 2 years ago, when Portugal didn’t had a Ikea store…,
Are we really Independent? Or are we just another province of Spain, with a different culture and language (as Catalunia)?
Who the hell sold us so much to the Spanish?
Olá. A massimo duti é meia portuguesa, em Portugal. 10% da PT são espanholas. Abracinhos, FM.
